Candy Ridlbauer: “Raptors--Rehabbing Birds of Prey”

Candy Ridlbauer is executive director of Northern Illinois Raptor Rehab and Education. In this intergenerational program, Ridlbauer will bring several live hawks, owls, and falcons, and tell how they came to NIRRE for rehabbing. She will describe the anatomy and physiology of raptors, their role in the food chain, and how they co-exist with humans.

All are invited to Coffee Hour after the talk. The Sunday programs are free and open to the public, and childcare is available. For more information, please visit

This was my second time attending the Sunday Morning Program and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed them!

This was a really fascinating and well-presented program! The hawks and owls were majestic and beautiful. The children and adults in attendance seemed "rapt" with the raptors. :-)

Hey, sorry I missed it! I really am excited to attend your church/group. I overslept, blame it on daylight savings! Next week!

DON'T FORGET!! Daylight Saving Time. Set your clocks AHEAD one hour, or you will be late. :-)

I'm hoping to bring my granddaughter to this one. She fancies herself a future veterinarian.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
