John Ungashick: “World War I: Miscalculation or Deliberate Act?”

John Ungashick is treasurer of the Society and an avid history buff. On the day after the 100th anniversary of the assassination of Austrian archduke Franz Ferdinand, John will discuss the causes and circumstances of “The Great War,” which historians call the seminal event of the 20th Century.

    What a fantastic talk! It was a seriously impressive look at a complex issue. Mr. Ungashick was clear that he didn't consider him self a scholar, but his knowledge of the subject was absolutely incredible. His opinions were fair and metered, never overstepping the evidence. Not to gloat, but if you missed this talk you really missed out. Thanks!!
