What's a movie that's helped shape or changed the way you think about a topic?

Empire of the Air helped me come to appreciate technology and engineers better, but that's not so philosophical or ethical. It's not the most challenging movie, but I did think Training Day was interesting to think about how one can lose sight of their ethical goals by delaying an ethical life in order to establish more influence.

What's a book or play that did the same as above?

Atlas Shrugged. Go ahead an hate! :)

Philosopher and lover of film and lit, sounds like a good group here!
