Announcing a new Meetup for The Plano Eckhart Tolle Presence Meetup!

What: The Plano Eckhart Tolle Group

When: Sunday, July 18,[masked]:00 PM

Where: CompassionWorks
1709 Savage Drive
Plano, TX 75023

I'm happy to post our next group as close as next weekend. I look forward to seeing you all.

The meet-up will follow the same format as the last one. I've copied the format below for those who may be new to the group.

A) The meeting will begin with 15 minutes of gathering and greeting.
B) We will then move into 15 minutes of silent meditation to bring everyone into the present moment. (People who arrive late during this time will be invited to enter quietly and join the group in silence.)

C) Promptly following will be 20 minutes spent solely for watching, listening, or reading directly from an Eckhart Tolle teaching. This will be done without comment so that everyone may receive the benefit of the teaching without being influenced by anothers experience and/or interpretation of it.

D) Following the teaching we will go around the room so that everyone will have a chance to speak, if they so choose. We ask that all who attend keep in their awareness the number of people in the group and limit their comments accordingly. Please refrain from cross-talk and 'notice' the impulse to comment, correct, or engage in conversation. When it is your turn to speak, please speak from your own experience and resist the urge to comment or offer advice to someone else in the group regarding what they shared. This part should last about 15 minutes.

E) In the remaining time, we will close the meeting with silent meditation. This will allow everyone to focus solely on being present as a reminder of the importance to carry it over into their daily lives.

For those that are seeking or needing more socialization and interactive discussions with like minded travelers, the after meeting discussion will be held at the Starbucks that is located at the SE corner of Parker and Custer.
