hello my lovelies. We have decided to keep the one venue instead of splitting us up. It might be a bit cosy but all the more fun! Please make sure that you check the updated information under the date and time info for exact details of what you need to bring on the night (a plate of something to share), what we'll be doing and how much projects will cost. Looking forward to meeting you all! Please also note there is limited street parking within the area, so car pool or tram it if you can!

So you're all freaking me out a little... we've now exceeded our maximum capacity so the ladies at Thread Den and I are in discussions on next steps. In the meantime, because we have so many of you coming now, all projects on the night will be at a small cost of $2. I was initially supplying all materials from my own craft room when there were only 30 odd people attending, but I can't afford to supply materials for double that! Hope you don't mind the small cost per project.

I've just added myself to the list on the right through meetup. Is that enough to rsvp for Friday ? Would love to be there... Kristien de Jong

lovelies, please check earlier comments for what to bring on the night as well as a link to the flyer which unfortunately can't be posted here. we're akso going to have to cap rsvp's at 50 otherwise we won't all fit! If anyone wants to bring some fun decorations to put up pls arrive at 7pm instead of 7.30 so we ca put them up in time. Feel free to also bring any fabric scraps with you to make some impromptu fun projects!

How great to have such dedicated crafty people organising this! Is anyone travelling from Elwood/St Kilda and wanting to car pool? Or co-tram?

There will be a variety of things you can do on the night including embroidery, an easy sewing project and silk screen printing. If you would like to try your hand at screen printing, please bring something with you to screen print onto! All other supplies will be provided on the night so that you can make something to take home! Super excited!

If each person can bring a plate or bowl of something to share or nibble on that would be great. Everything else will be supplied, but also feel free to BYO bottle of something should you feel the urge.

Location confirmed! The lovely ladies from Thread Den are kindly allowing us to use their fabulous studio on Fitzroy for the Etsy Craft Party. And they'll also be joining us for lots of crat fun. Also the Melbourne event is currently within the top 50 Etsy Craft Parties being held globally so we should be receiving a bunch of goodies for the night if we maintain the position within top 50! More details to come shortly

Just a quick update my lovelies. I've commenced discussions with Thread Den in Fitzroy about hosting us (they have another premise in North Melb, but I figured Fitzroy was a little more central). I will update you all as soon as I have some news.
