I am Happy to announce that the San Antonio Etsy Craft Party made it into the top 50 parties worldwide!!! An email was just sent confirming that we will be receiving a package of goodies from Etsy and its sponsors. A big thanks goes to all of you who RSVP'd before the 7th, and we can't wait to see you all there at the Party!

This event is brought to by Sew Deluxe and the Alamo City Handmade Team. We will have door prizes, crafts, snacks, and for one lucky RSVPer, a special collection of goodies provided by Alamo City Handmade.
Feel free to bring snacks and finger foods. We also encourage you to bring supplies and even finished crafts to swap!

Event was awsome! I'm making every effort to come out more often and commune with the raddest group of DIY-ers.

I didn't stay too long, because I have to get up early in the morning and I live in New Braunfels, but it was great to meet people who are so talented. I look forward to going back to Sew Deluxe soon and to meeting up with some new friends I met. I am excited about getting more involved. Thank you to Brandy, Tara, and everyone else who made this possible:)

Posted by Lynn Lancaster- Hallam- Corona June 18, 2010 at 8:08 AMI believe the deadline to RSVP by the 7th was to help with the Etsy contest (that's when Etsy tallied the winning cities, so RSVPs made after the 7th didn't count toward the contest). I don't think it's too late to RSVP -- to do so, click "I'm Interested" in the top right hand corner.

Sew-Deluxe has more than enough "scrap fabric"...no need for anyone to bring that item. I would like to encourage everyone to bring a t-shirt or tote for the silkscreening station though! I can't wait! This is going to be a great party! Bring your friends, your kids, your hubby...bring your mom - she'll have a blast!

We have actually had parties with more than 50 people...we overflowed out on the side walk and the parking lot. Let me know how big the party is and we will see if we can host it! - Missy
