There will be a Local 4 $5 awarded to the member* with the highest points over the last 5 events! Our new statistics website www.EuchreToronto.com will help us figure out who the lucky winner is after every event.

Points are calculated for the last 5 events only. Calculation is based on a combination of average score per night (out of 10) and the total number of games you have played in the last 5 events.

The goal of the group is to play euchre, not having a high score. By calculating points this way, having a high score is not as important as the total number of games played. Increasing your number of games per night will help increase your points. We have capped the the average number of games per night eligible to 6 games (30 per 5 events) to even the odds for everyone.

There is a catch to claim your prize! You have to be at the next event. So if you ever notice you have the highest number of points, be sure to make it out to the next event to claim your prize! If you are not there your Local 4 $5 will be given to the second highest score, or third, etc, in sequence!

The 'High 5 for $5' is designed to encourage you to write down your score after every game, as well as to have regular attendance! We are not a competitive group, it's really all for fun, so don't worry about how you are doing. Remember, if you come out to every game your points are automatically better than someone who didn't come out at all! ; ) And playing more games increases your chances even further!

In such instances, prize will go to the member closest to, and over, the 'Points Average' listed on the website, who has attended all 5 most recent events.
