Thriller Practice

Welcome back experienced Zombie Dancers and our multitude of new dancers! Whether or not you have any experience dancing Michael Jackson's Thriller, you are bound to have a great time, get a good workout and make some new friends along the way. The teachers are the same as last year, Margo Jennings, Sandy Caughron and Dan Stephens. Teaching format will be: during the first hour, to do a 5-10 minute warm up, then do some "run-throughs" of Thriller using the slow script, then fast script, then the dance without any script. The 2nd hour we will break it down step by step for new people. Whether you have experience or not, it can be beneficial to come for the whole two hours....to see the whole routine, break it down, and to fine tune what you already know. Questions email [masked] or call Margo at[masked] or Sandy at[masked]-4819. Practices will be on Sundays from 12-2 and Wednesdays 7-9pm.

Someone was asking me about the dance slippers I was wearing last night at practice. They are called nufoot and you can find the slipper at http://nufoot.com/women.html. Comfortable and affordable.

Enjoy seeing new faces joining in the fun! Quite the workout but it's worth it, seeing how far we've come since our initial beginning in mid August. Thanks to our teachers/leaders for answering all of our questions and putting in the extra hours of work. You are all awesome!

At practice last week, most of the dance move seemed to start on the left foot. I find your script and instructional videos all seem to start with the right foot. Perhaps I'm just confused....

I have a dance background. I find ease in knowing the count and foot. Although it is not your teaching style I would most appreciate a clarification:-)
