Nashoba Valley Winery Bluegrass Festival

Nashoba Valley Winery holds a bluegrass festival every fall from about noon to 5 pm. I went last year and it was a lot of fun. Its usually pretty crowded. Since its going to be hard to find one another, I will e-mail out my cell phone number to the yeses and maybes a few days before the event. I don't have chairs but I'll bring some extra blankets.

Here's a blurb from their web site: "Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a fun filled fall day of bluegrass music featuring "Southern Rail.". Great views, great foliage, great food, great brews and great wine make this a day not to be missed. Enjoy some of Nashoba Valley Winery's best beers while you listen to live music cascading from our picturesque gazebo. And of course, apple picking, apple pie eating contests and tasty caramel apples are all part of the fun!"

Here is their web site if you want more information: http://www.nashobawin...

This will be a joint event with the Acton Social Network Group.

I went but wasn't able to find anyone either. I never got the cell phone email but that's ok. I did have a great time. The music was cool, the wine and beer tastings were great and I did meet people there... I guess I will just have to wait a little longer to meet all of you. :)

The plan was for everyone who responded 'yes' to get a phone number to call on site. I never got this email - perhaps problems with my email.
I was there but was not able to find the group, which is nobody's fault but that is how it worked out for me.
One observation: it seems dogs outnumbered people there.

Great idea - does anyone interested in car-pooling? I have spare seats. Let me know.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
