A Musical Journey To Italy

Northeastern University presents Newpoli, a group of exceptionally talented musicians performing an exciting journey through time, culture and musical styles of Italy. The Story of Italy told through its folk tradition from shepherd songs of the Appenini Mountains to music from the courts and piazzas of Naples. Twos ingers and six instrumentalists will bring a Carnevale celebration to life in dramatic fashion using original dialects and traditional instruments.Joining the group on stage will be special guest,Emanuele Capoano, as the mask of “Pulcinella” bringing the audience back to a Naples of centuries ago
