I have always loved board and card games. I also love meeting new people. I am ready to learn something new or play an old favorite. I am also interested in writing (check out my other group: the Evanston Writers' Workshop).
I hope that we continue to attract such a pleasant and fun group of people.

Hi Debbie -- I've been looking for critique partners but have not been able to find a group that is really convenient for me. Are there any members of your group who are interested in exchanging critiques online. I've written a novel which I epublished and am working on a second. I can be reached by email at [masked] or [masked], if anyone in your group wants to do some online critiquing.

Hi Deb - I am forming a game group in Addison, Illinos. No competition for you. I am trying not to reinvent the wheel and wondering if you could share with me how to run a successful game club. How is it organize. Who decides games and how many do you play each time. Do you limit the number of people. What works, what doesn't. Just asking for suggestions and advice. Do you have everyone bring food. Most of the people already know each other.
Thanks - [masked]
hi debbie, i enjoyed the evening tonight. and i liked your comments.
i was thinking as i drove home tonight that there has to be a way to get people quality reviews, but not have every single person remark on every single piece of work. especially if everyone sees the same thing.
Why not have people CHOOSE three members to critique their latest piece? and you can't pick the same people two sessions in a row? no need to break up in to subgroups, but at the table now only three people will
hi debbie, i am looking forward to entering my submissions soon. i heard i have to watch, for two weeks, to see how the reviews go. could i do this for only one? and, should i read the submissions before i come, do people print them out and bring them along, or just make their comments by memory?
Can you tell me how o dopwnload the pieces to be reviwed at the next session?
