The Critique Group

Welcome to the Evanston Writers Workshop Critique Group.  One of two foundational programs of EWW, the Critique Group is a group of professional and aspiring writers who help each other polish their writing.  Through workshop-style critique, writers have the opportunity to receive direct feedback from attentive readers who understand the craft of writing.  For more information, as well as submission guidelines and requirements, please visit our "About Us" page, here.

Friendly reminder:  please have your submissions uploaded by the Friday (midnight) before the meeting.

Great night. Finally had a chance to read the final--I hope not--part of Debra Wolff's story. Great stuff. Also had time to give comments on the first two sections of my horror novelette. During the discussion, we came to a realization of what was missing to complete the second session. Thanks to everyone. Those insights will really improve the understanding of the story.

    Hi All,
Tony Kelly said that Tanya mentioned she saw or found a jacket at the meeting. I left my fleece jacket there by mistake, and wondered if anyone would know where I might inquire about it.
I called the Hilton Garden this morning, and one wasn't reported.
    Hope all is well.
