Winter's Tale was too long!!! The parts I liked were the Peter Lake parts. Had to skip over large parts of the book. You have to be heavy into prose to like this one. Author is brilliant, but book is a bit heavy.

I would give the book only 3 stars, but the meeting went pretty well!

I actually enjoyed the first ten minutes. I will reserve my thoughts regarding the rest of the book until tomorrow. :)

Haha, I hear you, Carrie! Looking forward to the discussion so someone can explain to me why they *did* like this book...

Oy, I'm giving up my spot because I couldn't stand to read the book. The first ten pages made my skin crawl. The fluffiness, the horse thinking, the Gangs of New York feel. Eech.

Hello, I have been looking to join a book club. Is there currently a book your reading?

Hello I'm new to the Book Club and excited to dive into some discourse with everyone. I'd like to participate in this upcoming meet up, but since I've never been in a Book Club not sure what the protocol is here. Are you presently in the middle of a book? Would this be your first meeting on a new book? Thanks and look forward to meeting everyone.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
