9-11 Seeing a line 2 blocks long so people could sign up to come back and donate blood. 9-12 Sheep Meadow-watching everyone stop what they were doing to stand up and applaud a passing fire engine. That made me understand what NYers are truly about.
I miss the energy, the quick witted retorts, the culture, the nightlife, and the amazing international cuisine.
Theatre, Museums, Eating.
My Dad is still in Scarsdale, so I get back at least twice a year. Gotta get my pizza, chinese, bagel, and deli fix.
I was born at Mt Sinai in NYC, and lived on E 79th ST until the ripe old age of 3 1/2. We moved to the burbs (Scarsdale,) where I went to High School. After College I lived in the city (E 71st St.) until I moved to San Diego.
I've always said that I love San Diego, but wish I could have brought my East Coast friends with me. I miss so many things, including Sarcasm ans intellectual debates. I hope to get my east Coast fix through this group.
