Introduction
Originally from Atlanta (but raised by a New Yorker), Moved to New York at 18 & lived there from 1994-2002. I moved here for grad school. I have been out here for 4 yrs, but it doesn't feel it. NYC looms so large, SF has a time completing for RAM.
Just what part of NY are you from? The 5 Boroughs of NYC, or perhaps a little more Upstate?
I lived on the Upper West Side for a few years in college, and moved to Park Slope Brooklyn (so original) after graduation. I lived there for 4 years before moving out here for graduate school.
What neighborhood do you live in? Work in?
I am a grad student/teacher at Berkeley, but as I moved here from New York, it didn't take long for me to have to move into the city from the east bay. I have lived in Hayes Valley for about three years. Events in any neighborhood are fine.
