Thanks to all who attended the Code Retreat.
We had a wonderful time developing code with all of you.

I'm sure the next time any of you play "Tic-Tac-Toe" on a lazy afternoon, you would be reminded of this session... :-)

The code retreat was good and taught me to think the TDD way. A lot of doubts were cleared which I never knew, whom to ask. v[Dhaval was very warm and friendly, but also made sure that we kept to our objectives and did not stray away from them. His early feedback during the session helped a lot.

Dhaval made us do some coding exercises that made me think and approach in a different way. Thanks for this. And thanks Mayank for hosting it so well.

    Hi All,

EXPERTALKS is upon us. So here are a few things to keep in mind:

TIME: 10 am on Saturday, 6th October 2012 (tomorrow). Please reach the venue on time. We will start SHARP at 10 am.

VENUE: Equal Experts, Cerebrum IT Park - B3, 2nd Floor (Above D-Mart), Kalyani Nagar, Pune - 411006. Please call [masked] in case you need directions.

LAPTOP: Bring along your laptop with your favourite IDE installed. Since the entire group will be divided in pairs, NOT ALL laptops would actually be used.. :-). However, its better to bring along your laptop; just in case.

LANGUAGE: You can code in the language of your choice as long as its OO. We don't care whether its Java / C# / Groovy / may be Swahili ??... :-)

NETWORK: We have Wi-Fi connectivity. So you can access the net.

CODING PROBLEM: Well that's a surprise... but here's a hint: Do you remember the "last pages" of your class notebooks ?

Looking forward to see you tomorrow....

    Cheers !!!

  • Prathamesh S.

Whats the tools/language we will use?

    September 25, 2012

    • Mayank S.

You are free to code in the language of your choice (as long as it is object oriented)..... C# / Java / Ruby doesn't matter... its your ability to think in terms of, & implement suitable domain objects, patterns etc. which matters...
