What's your favorite part about UX?

How relevant it is in today's world. How seriously in demand highly intuitive, practical UX designers are and how important their job truly is. How every single person who has ever used a graphical interface takes for granted that the reason it's easy to use is because some awesome UX designer focused on the user's needs and made an interface tailored to them, something that is like second nature to use. UX designers have done their job well when the user doesn't even realize that someone took the time to design the mindlessly intuitive interactions they are currently taking for granted.

What do you hope to get out of this series?

Networking, and a more inside look on the world of UX design. I am still new to this realm and have much to learn.

I studied Game Design for my undergraduate, but found I had a knack for web design. I landed my first job out of school at a small web company, and eventually transitioned to a job in UI/UX design. I love the Internet and web development.
