Free Concert - Panic Duo with New Lens Concerts

Join our member, Juhi this Saturday at a Free Concert.  You get to witness classical music with a bit of a twist.  LA's own Panic Duo (Pasha Tseitlin, violin; Nicolas Gerpe, Piano) will perform a concert in conjunction with the New Lens Concert Series. A secret program, quirky atmosphere and gorgeous music - works from 1915 - 2012, by Szymanowski, Crumb and others.

A little about Panic Duo:

Panic Duo is a Los-Angeles based ensemble dedicated to the performance of music of our time. Featuring violinist Pasha Tseitlin and pianist Nic Gerpe, the Duo’s diverse repertoire includes works by Crumb, Corigliano, Rzewski and Pärt. The Duo has worked with composers such as Gernot Wolfgang, Don Crockett, Erica Muhl, and Juhi Bansal. Panic Duo frequently perform in the Los Angeles and San Diego areas, and were recently honored by the Senate of the State of California for their performance at Our Lady of Angels in Escondido.

    Hi everyone,
    If anyone is interested, the Colburn Cafe right across the street from the hall is a great place to grab a quick dinner (I believe they close at 7:30, which would be in great time to eat and get into the concert.) Disney Hall and it's associated (somewhat fancier) eateries are also right across the street. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
