MOdROCK Mods vs. Rockers in '60s Musical -1/2 price tickets & Middle East Dinner

MOdROCK: Mods vs. Rockers in the Swinging '60s Musical

Tonight is the OPENING NIGHT

Set in London in the mid-1960s, MOdROCK tells the story of a historic culture clash, fueled by competing musical styles and fashion trends. On one side, rockers drew inspiration from Elvis and United States motorcycle culture. The mods took their cues from the latest fashion trends and favored British bands like the The Who and The Kinks. Using this vibrant time period as a backdrop, the new musical tells the story of young love lost and rediscovered through the music of the era. The brilliant choreography features modern interpretations of '60s dance styles set to the music of The Animals, Dusty Springfield, The Yardbirds, The Hollies, Petula Clark, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Zombies, Herman Hermits and more including the songs "For Your Love", "We Gotta Get Out of This Place", "Tired of Waiting", "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", "Bus Stop", "Time of the Season", "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me", "Downtown", "Sunny Afternoon", "A Summer Song", "I Can't Explain", "You've Got Your Troubles' and others.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
