Critical Mass Bicycle Ride
Critical Mass is a fun bicycle ride which gives you the freedom to ride on the streets of Los Angeles with thousands of cyclists without having to stop for signals. The police block off the intersections, and we ride the streets with police escorts. LA Critical Mass monthly rides are approximately 30 miles with a speed around 10 miles per hour. There are always at least two brief stops.
Each month the ride takes a different route which is part of the fun. LA Critical Mass rides are on the last Friday of each month. Previous rides have covered Downtown, West Hollywood's Santa Monica Bl., Hollywood Blvd. between Highland Ave. and Western Ave, Thaitown, Little Armenia, Mid-Wilshire, Koreatown, East Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and many other neighborhoods.
For more information visit their website and Facebook page Los Angeles Critical Mass.
NOTE: This is an extremely crowded bike ride and you must be very cautious. You ride at your own risk - this is a public event, not a club event.
