This will be the next in the series of weekday FStops photo excursions around the LA area. They are designed to be relatively low key meet-ups where we can exercise our cameras and share ideas. In general, these outings will be held on weekdays and will feature an hour or two of photographing.
On Thursday, February 21st at 10:45am, we will meet on the plaza where the tram from the parking area arrives up at the Center. Let's gather near the big wireframe sculpture to the right as you depart the tram.
1.The museum is free but the parking is not. Parking is $15 per car. I suggest carpooling and sharing the fee.
2.There will be a fair amount of walking involved.
3.Go to http://www.getty.edu/visit/ to get driving instructions and other information. Note: this the Getty Center, not the Villa.
4. If anyone wants to carpool, I recommend meeting at Woodley Park for a 9:30am departure. Meet at the parking lot that is on Woodley Ave, a quarter of a mile south of Victory Blvd on the east side of the street. Look for my orange Honda Element. It's easy to spot.
6.Contact me, John Grusd, via email at [masked] if you have any questions.
