I thoroughly enjoyed tonite's critique! It was a pleasure and also very inspiring to see other photographer's work. Sooo amazing, similar, yet, different. A wonderful and creative evening. Thank you Monica and Bill! I just love this group! See you tomorrow!

      Hello Workshop Participants,

I hope everyone had a great time on Sunday!

This Wednesday is our last session and will take place @ Temple Ahavat Shalom, 18200 Rinaldi Place, Northridge, 91326. I will check to see which room we are meeting in and email you by tomorrow.

This last session will cover a critique of images followed by a Q&A session. This is a valuable module of the workshop and please remember that you are not expected to present perfect photographs... the point is to talk about strengths and weaknesses. Don't be shy! Please bring 10 photos from Sunday on a flash drive. They should be in jpeg format.

Looking forward to seeing everyones' photos!

      Best,
      Monica

      Hi Everyone,

    Hi Everyone,
For submitting images tonight on a flash drive, your images should be a maximum of 1024 wide by 768 tall (pixels), in sRGB jpegs. Use "baseline" format, not "progressive".
    See you tonight!

Is 72 dpi ok for tonite?

    November 7, 2012

  • John G.

Nice pics! I'll put a few on if I can figure what format and size to make them. I'm guessing it's not 23 inch tiffs at 240dpi.

Thanks. Yeah, I just dumped them in at the same resolution as for the club meetings.

I cannot make tomorrow's meeting, but I will post some photos here. They don't compare to the photos already posted.

I think Bill did a great job! Getting that much information in only 2.5 hours is tough. I think the beginners went away with some really good new found knowledge. I look forward to see how you all do on the field trip :-)!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
