Welcome!

Our purpose is to experience music making with all ages, with an emphasis on young families building skills in the first 9 years of life. In 2009, it's new to many that every single child can learn music just like they learn language: easily and completely from very young.

Making music together is the best way to have pleasant family time that also excites adults and kids brains.
Best of all, my passion is learning through my families how music prevents such issues as disconnect during teenage years and how music can help a child create and self soothe and not need drugs and food and such.
I teach musical literacy, which since about 1965 has been learned SHOULDER TO SHOULDER with language, FROM BIRTH!

Since 2004, I have owned a music literacy studio with students from 5 days old up to 11, and their families!
I teach piano for three of those years, as I am a degreed pianist and love to teach.

I want to teach parents, whether one hour or my studio families for 9 years.

I want to make music with families and teach them to see their babies to 9yos as completely able to learn music.

And music has HUGE secondary benefits such as great increase in confidence, physical coordination, NO sensory deprivation since tactile and all of it exists in my classes, family bonding, singing, writing down music, many more.

One thing to know about me is that I love these things most:
children and families in music before age 9 with kids
laughing hard and making my families laugh
educating about science in a painless way and about things parents LOVE AND NEED to know.
