Meet other single parents to commiserate, share ideas & tips, and validate our common family structure! Resource-sharing opportunities may come up if members would find it helpful (meal co-op, childcare co-op, whatever). We're amazing, and we need to help keep each other energized and engaged.
Single parents are a diverse group. Some are widowed, some are divorced, some are never married. Some are young, some are middle-aged (and we get old, too, but hopefully the kids have moved out by then!) Some have better local support networks than others. However, we all find ourselves in this position.
Do you need someone to listen and know what you're talking about? Do you need more folks on your "Who to Call When I'm Sick and My Kid Isn't" list? Do you need grown-up conversation while your kid is entertained by other kids? We will probably be a source of all of this and more!
Come One and All to the First Anniversary Fargo-Moorhead Single Parents Meet and Greet Spagetti Dinner. Come and meet the other members of the group and feed the kids without cooking. How much better does it get. A casual evening to socialize and watch the kids play. Please RSVP by November 10th so I can have supplies on hand. Hornbachers' is sponsering the dinner!!
This group doesn't have any additional upcoming Meetups scheduled.
