Diana Eng (Project Runway, Season 2) will present her innovative educational project that teaches about math, science, and technology through fashion. Produced in conjunction with

As Co-Founder and CEO of FashInvest LLC, Karen brings her experience base of 15 years of deal transaction experience and advising hundreds of entrepreneurs to the branded goods and fashion segments. Karen was Fund Manager in Residence for Context Capital Partners and helped to bring several next generation private equity funds to market. Prior to Context, Karen was a Founder and Partner of Liberty Venture Partners, a Philadelphia based venture fund established in 1997 with $150 million under management. Previous to Liberty Venture Partners, Karen was a Managing Director of Philadelphia Ventures, Inc., a private held venture capital management firm with a family of corporate and institutional limited partnerships exceeding $100 million of committed capital.
David J. Freschman. As Founder and Chairman of FashInvest, LLC, David brings his in-depth experience as a venture capital investor who has worked directly with over 30 portfolio companies in his career helping them first obtain necessary funding and assisting them in their growth towards successful businesses. With a career spanning over 25 years, David’s has focused entirely on the entrepreneurial sector of the economy having started his career in the Enterprise Group of Arthur Andersen. After spending a half dozen years with Andersen, he launched the Corporate Advisory Group of McBride Shopa, one of the largest certified public accounting and consulting firms in the mid-Atlantic region where he worked directly with business owners and CEOs in financial and strategic matters.
Robin Lewis. Most recently, as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, Robin Lewis headed up its retail consulting subsidiary, providing clients with strategic information and consulting on all sectors of retailing worldwide. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he was Vice President and Executive Editor of Women’s Wear Daily, where he researched and authored numerous feature articles spanning a broad range of subjects including globalization, strategic brand positioning, distribution and logistics, productivity and innovation and customer relationship management, all focusing on the retail industry. Because of his unique insights he has been requested, throughout his career, by many of the industry’s CEO’s and other C-level executives for advice, consultation and strategic presentations: among them were Kohl’s, Bloomingdale’s, JC Penney, Macy’s, Liz Claiborne, VF Corp., Charming Shoppes, Estee Lauder, Ralph Lauren, Sara Lee, and financial firms such as Bear Stearns and The Carlyle Group.
