Here There and EVERYwhere is a fashion social enterprise, empowering underprivileged artisans and artists around the world by giving them the faith, support and love they need to be self sufficient, strong, and independent, while promoting sustainability and improving the domestic economy.
I have been studying graphic design and printmaking since high school. While in high school, I sold many hand printed shirts and enjoyed the process of making them. Seeing the attention my designs received, I decided that I would like to pursue fashion design more. Around the same time, I started a chapter of Students for a Free Tibet at my high school. Through it, I learned how many people were unaware of the political and social unrest in other parts of Asia. I wanted to do something, but didn’t know how. Spreading awareness was a start. Over the summer I’ve studied trademark and copyright law to get my company started. I also volunteered with the Imagine Foundation’s Mirror Mirror Woman project in Orange County, CA, an identity workshop taught to battered women. I’m also currently volunteering with the arts program for children of survivors of domestic abuse and human trafficking at the New York Asian Women’s Center.
Hi! I'm an NYU undergraduate starting an eco-friendly fashion social enterprise called Here There and EVERYwhere. I'd like to join this group and meet like-minded professionals in the fashion industry.
