Our team shares a thesis that at the intersection of content, commerce and community there is a huge opportunity for entrepreneurs to capture the highly passionate and engaged fashion community. Currently those interested in content and/or commerce have so many channels available to seek out the most cutting edge technology and styles, but ultimately there will be several that rise to the top. As investors, we're looking at how the fashion community is engaging with content (and how this experience may be seamlessly integrated with commerce); and how engagement with the content is no longer largely through print, but via web, mobile, video etc. As investors, we look to find the entrepreneurs that are deeply involved in content - commerce - community and have a "2.0 vision" that anticipate the needs and development of the fashion and media communities.
