- Different types of welding processes used in industry
- Proper safety attire and safe working practices
- Proper equipment set up & maintenance
- Arc welding carbon steel using the TIG / GTAW process
Please wear long pants and clothing made of natural fibers, with boots or closed-toe shoes. A long-sleeved shirts and a cap, bandana, or hair covering is also recommended. FCFL can provide welding jackets, helmets, gloves, and other safety equipment as needed.
This class is mostly demonstration and instruction in proper technique. If there is time, attendees may take turns on the machine to try it out for themselves.
