Title: Develop Apps for SharePoint 2013

Description: Apps for SharePoint were introduced in SharePoint 2013 to maximize the level of capability and flexibility that developers can deliver without risking compromise to the farm. In this session, we will delve into the SharePoint 2013 app model for developers, including the different types of apps and when to use each one. We will also use the Microsoft Office Developer Tools for Visual Studio to create and deploy a real-world app for SharePoint.

Bio: Danny Jessee is a senior SharePoint developer with Fulcrum IT Services, LLC. For over nine years, he has specialized in the development of custom SharePoint solutions for federal government, military, and corporate clients. He has passed exams[masked],[masked],[masked], and[masked] for SharePoint 2013. In his spare time, he enjoys running, meteorology, and cheering for his local sports teams.

Danny does a great job, functioning A/V equipment or no!

Danny made it look easy. And that's very relevant when considering hiring someone for a gig.

I really hate I have to cancel my RSVP for tonight (11/7/2013). I have an 8 month old niece who's in need of my babysitting services. Mack we will have to meet at the next one and swap some old Navy stories. :)

We have learned that we can't please everyone, every time. There has been a lot of requests from the group for more 2013 information since a lot are now considering making that move. We have focused a lot on 2010 and all of the training to date was 2010, the November class is our first jump into the 2013 training. If the topic isn't of interest then don't attend, not every session will be on topic for every member.

Thanks Mack, those of us who've had to make the leap into 2013 at work have been waiting for our beloved User Groups to version-jump so we can get support for issues not as well-tread, like SP10 has been.
