We're sorry, but this group is currently closed to new members.
The focus of this group:
To enhance our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health through a regular practice of communing in nature, moving our bodies, quieting our minds, and/or finding ourselves in fits of laughter and spirited connection with other women and friends. To cultivate feelings of inner peace, well being and joy by pursuing activities that nourish, inspire, educate, and motivate us, with the fundamental goal of feeling GOOD -- in the moment, and beyond -- and to bring some of that goodness back home to our families, and out into the world.
In this group we will support the the exploration of all things related to women's health and well being, including (but not limited to!): yoga, meditation, dance, qi gong, fitness, the mind-body connection, mindfulness, neuroscience, compassion, spirituality, whole foods nutrition, plant-based cooking/baking and recipe sharing, and more -- all in a supportive environment, free of judgment or any agenda other than feeling GOOD!
What to expect:
Most groups are held at my home on Thursday nights beginning at 7pm. (There is a half-hour window for people to arrive and have some tea together before the start of the evening's chosen topic -- so please arrive any time after 7 and before 7:30pm.) The format is generally some kind of audio or video presentation (with a quiet, meditative feel) and some room for group connection and conversation. The potential for deep, sacred connection with self and others exists here. I hope you will join us.
Beyond this, I envision our group offering local hikes, meditations, pot lucks, recipe sharing, discussion groups, etc., but because of my schedule and family obligations, I can only do this every so often. *If you're interested in leading a group -- at your home, office, or out in Mother Nature, please contact me! Each of us has come to this group to be nourished in some way, and each of us has something to offer. If everyone did this (even occasionally), what an incredible group this would be! I sincerely hope that our offerings can become more diverse and regular than I can personally offer on my own.
