Vision Boards

It's been a suggested that we create vision boards at one of our next meetups. I created a poll to see whether or not the group wanted to do this at our very next meeting this Friday, but apparently there's no notification for new polls so nobody knew to vote on it. I noticed this shortly after creating it, but whenever I encounter a little resistance like this I tend to pull back for a moment to reflect and see if I'm really taking the path of least resistance. The few people I had talked to about this were either all for it, or not really interested at all. The democratic solution is simply to put it up for a vote and let majority win. But in a democracy the minority always have to conform to majority rule. Someone always ends up feeling less than satisfied.

So instead of choosing between two options for a single meetup, I'm proposing that we simply have a regular meeting this Friday, and create an extra meetup either next week Friday (Jan 29th) or the first Friday next month (Feb 5th) for those of us who would like to create vision boards.

I compiled a list of fun vision board ideas and some helpful descriptions so if you're not sure if you're interested in creating a vision board, don't worry, I'll send out an email explaining everything in detail to help you decide.

For those of you not interested in vision boards we'll still have regular meetups this Friday and also February 12th and 26th.
