The Williamsburg Figure Drawing Meetup

No location was chosen

I am a full-time figurative painter and thought it would be cool to open up my studio to amateur and professional artists--and share the love for art and for drawing the human figure.

The sessions will be every Sunday from 3-6 pm. The loft is 15 minutes from Union Square on the L train, Morgan stop (cool artists' pocket of lofts).

You need to bring newsprint, and one or two sheets of good paper. Rives BFK is awesome for pencil and charcoal drawings. Conte charcoal is great for the newsprint sketches.

We will be working from the nude figure, either male or female. I will monitor the session and set up the lighting. There are 3 easels and 4 chair set-ups, if there are more artists they need bring a portable easel or draw on their laps.

The session is $15 and I need at least four people to attend to cover the model's fee. Not bad. :)

Everything was perfect! The atmosphere, the model, and it was easy to get to off of the train. I had such a great time.
