FILM Atlanta Meetups are intended to connect you with others in the FILM Community and provide an opportunity for you to get up close with actors, directors, producers, and more.

Short Film Screening:

We also plan to have two short film screening followed by question and answer time with those responsible for the production.

This is your chance to get a behind the scenes look at what goes into making the short film.  Discover what drove the decision making process.  Get some ideas about how to make your projects better and what mistakes to avoid along the way.

Let's welcome Crystal Brown to FILM Atlanta for our August Meetup.

Crystal Lee Brown, is a SAG-AFTRA actor, writer and producer living in Los Angeles. Her niche as the hip, witty charmer with an east coast flare, has landed her roles on CBS, TNT,  Nickelodeon and The CW. She recently landed a supporting role in HBO's Bessie starring Oscar nominated actress Queen Latifah and Oscar award winning actress Monique.

Crystal is the co-writer and co-producer of "Cell Block Seven", a stage play depicting the true stories of incarcerated women, which was nominated for a 2013 NAACP Theatre Award.  Since joining the full-time acting ranks, she's been cast  in several independent films, stage plays and commercials.  Crystal has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from Temple University.

Crystal Lee Brown is the co-creator of Acting: Making It Your BUSINESS Marketing Seminar, a dynamic visual workshop, developed for actors to take control of their marketability and brand themselves in the business of show.

    yeah that does sound real good actually I live right around the corner from the Walmart off of Windy Hill and I'll be moving to Atlanta away from this area well it won't be a problem I'll still come back out here to the meetings
