This was my first meetup. I'm really glad I came! It's exciting to share the company of people like myself who are passionate about film and telling stories. Met some interesting people and looking forward to coming back again soon.

Enjoyed myself overall and learned some new things about the industry. I would like to humbly suggest that we start the meeting on time since RSVP's have proven more than once to be an unreliable predictor of attendees. If people know that the meetings always start on time, it will help them to take it seriously and be more responsible. I think we all owe this to Cynthia and Brent for the hard work that they do to make this meeting possible. This will also leave more time at the end of the meeting for networking, when we are all still feeling fresh and ready to meet and greet. A slated time span of 2 hours is already kind of lengthy, then if it runs overtime because of a late start, by the time we begin networking with each other, we are at risk for fatigue and not able to present ourselves to each other as best as we would like. Anyway, those are just a few suggestions for us. I look forward to the next meetup and hope that everyone has a great 4th of July!
