Where y’at?…(hello).
WHERE Y’AT? (wâr) (yât)? hel'lo?
  • Colloquial New Orleans speak to discover where someone is geographically
  • Colloquial New Orleans speak to politely ask how things have been going
    for a person.
Where y'at Chief? How's ya momma and dem?

15 STREET CORNERS. 15 DIRECTORS. 15 STORIES. 1 CITY. 1 FEATURE FILM ‘Where Y’at? (hello)’ a joint picture project – World Premiere Screening

New Orleans is full of characters, personalities, endless talking and a lot of stories. Timecode:NOLA assigned filmmakers one street corner from neighborhoods all over New Orleans and gave them 3 weeks to write, shoot, and edit a 5 minute slice-of-life film that embodies the character of their assigned neighborhood.

Timecode is taking the best 15 short films and editing them together into an original feature length film ‘Where Y’at? (hello)’ that explores life in New Orleans through all of it’s unique neighborhoods that make up the character of our unique city.

Timecode:NOLA is partnering up with Defend New Orleans to take back the city with this truly New Orleans original screening. A live performance from our baudy, Bywater favorites, King James and the Special Men play after the film. An ultra late night skate video party sponsored by Preservation Board Company & Humidity Skate Shop cap off the celebration of locals.
