Susie,  The other states have been at it for a long long time.  After the events in Boston this week...there are much bigger concerns right now then the tax credits.  The has bent over backwards for a long time kissing up to Hollywood.  When are they truly going to help or work with "local" producers.  That is the big question.

April Moving Image Incentives Events in Dallas and Houston

Make plans to join Texas Film Commissioner, Heather Page;  Auditing Specialist, Stephanie Whallon; plus others for a discussion on all things Texas Production Incentives.  Saturday, April 27 from 1-4pm at MPS. This promises to be a comprehensive conversation with the people who implement and work with our state incentives on a daily basis!

These experts will guide you through the state process and answer your questions from applications to documentation, what to expect, and how to successfully navigate the process that is the Moving Image Incentives Program.

As an added bonus, James Yohe with the Nocona Economic Development Corporation will be present to share important information on the unique features and services of the Greater Nocona area.
