We are an easy-going group of people who want an excuse to get out of the house more, and talk about books, eat some food, drink some drinks, do some book swapping, etc. Our meetings take place on the first Monday of each month, at Forbes Library in Northampton. We meet downstairs, in the Community Room, at 7 pm. Some months, we also have a social and/or book swap, on the 3rd Monday. Book choices are generally contemporary fiction, with the occasional non-fiction thrown in. All are welcome, please be respectful and queer/lgbt-friendly

Meet other local book lovers 1 x monthly to trade/exchange books and conversation about books of any genre. Each guest is requested to bring 5 or more books to the exchange, if you would like to share your thoughts on the book a index card with your comments paperclipped to the cover is a nice way to do so. A one dollar donation is requested to cover the meet up website club fees. The Ann Arbor Classics Book Group meets twice monthly (Sundays and Wednesdays) to discuss selections from Boxall's "1001 books you must read before you die". The books that we decide on as a group (via our online poll) are discussed on Sundays, while the Wednesday selections are assigned by the organizer or assistant organizer or nominated by a member. Dues of $1.00 per member are collected at each discussion to help cover site fees and other various costs. Welcome! This group is for people 40+ who want to read and discuss books, meet new people, and have casual conversations. It sounds like the group enjoys reading a variety of books: fiction, non-fiction, biographies, etc. We can even consider a book swap session. I look forward to meeting you!

Finally, a book club in our area! "Novel Ideas" consists of a group of women who not only love to read, but love to socialize! Our members include women from Holden to Blackstone to Shrewsbury to Charlton...and we hold our monthly meetings at Barnes and Noble at the Shoppes at Blackstone in Millbury. We are always looking for new ideas and meeting spots for "extra" events and will be attending book swaps and the occasional movie that compliments a reading selection. Thanks for hopping on-board!
