Burgundy, France- 7 Day River barge excursion-TRIP FULL!

  • Jul 5, 2014 · 1:30 PM

One cabin left!  Contact Captain Michael to reserve (1 or 2 person occupancy)

A small group of adventurers will depart Tournus, France on July 5th for a 7 day excursion of the fabulous Burgundy wine country. As we ply the River Saone, we will explore picturesque villages, castles, cathedrals, vineyards, open air markets and the beautiful French countryside. This is a relaxed way to explore and take in the sights from the deck of our yacht. Our America 50 yacht is the top of the line with 4 double cabins with private baths. We have a fully equipped galley and comfortable salon, and a shaded observation deck! We will take half of our meals on board (included) and dine on the famous cuisine of the Burgundy at riverside restaurants. We will shop in the local markets and prepare meals together on board with provisions from local markets and boulangeries.

There will be ample opportunities to explore villages on foot or bike along the way. What an amazing way to experience the country! There are numerous possible itineraries we could pursue, and the crew will meet for dinner to plan our route.

The cost of the 7 day and night trip will be $1,749 PP from Tournus, double occupancy, including half of meals on board. Bike rentals are optional extra.

The yacht excursion will be led by Captain Michael Miller, USCG Licensed Master, Call or email any questions or RSVP to reserve a cabin.
