The Firefly DC Pagan Meetup is an eclectic group dedicated to social connections, spiritual practice, casual learning, as well as serious study.   Our events have included:

• Open sabbat circles
• Open new moon circles
• Classes and workshops
• Field trips
• Crafts
• Coffee chats
• Divination parties
• Divination shares
• Meditation sessions
• Group outings to area events organized by other groups, including Persephone's Masquerade, the Lady Liberty League reception, and more.
• You will also notice that we use the notes future to list related events that you might like to attend in the DC region.  These notes do not include other events schedule by area meetups.

THE FIREFLY HOUSE: This meetup is a local chapter of The Firefly House (TFH), a nature-based church with it's home online.  There are chapters of TFH in several states and three countries with members and participants from all over the world. TFH is focused on building community through environmental awareness, education, spirituality, and service.  Affiliation with TFH is not required to participate in this meetup group.  Locally, we just want to build Pagan community.  TFH sponsors our meetup group.  TFH online offers membership classes, online forums, online chats, online rituals, and more.  http://www.fireflyhouse.org

THE FIREFLY ACADEMY: TFH runs The Firefly Academy (TFA), which is our online school that offers classes and other resources devoted to nature-based spirituality education.  When this meetup offers classes, those classes apply to Firefly Priesthood and Firefly Clergy requirements.  http://www.fireflyacademy.org

COVEN OF THE SPIRAL MOON: For those who are looking for more, this meetup is also affiliated with the Coven of the Spiral Moon (CSM).  An eclectic coven that formed in early 2009, CSM meets for full moon circles and leads our meetup's open sabbat circles.  CSM members are the leadership core for our local Firefly chapter, which includes leading rituals and organizing small groups.  All classes taught in this meetup group, as well as with TFA online apply to CSM requirements.  Read about our requirements to join here:  http://www.fireflyspiralmooncoven.org
