Grouper and Sea Bass Time

Now with open season for Grouper and Sea bass are you up for bottom fishing?  Lets lock down the drags and get the grouper in the boat, and leave the rocks down at the bottom.  Yet I expect to do a little trolling on top of the reef for Cobia and King Mackerel during the day. With any luck we will have a heavy fish box and maybe get home a little earlier, hopefully your hooks are sharp. I may move this event back or forward depending on the weather so, check you email if you are coming.

Remember this is not a charter boat so do remember your saltwater fishing license, fishing rod and something to eat and drink.  Also if you are planning to bring your cellular phone you need to shut it off before we lose site of shore, otherwise the battery is going to need a recharge before we make it back to shore.  Cost $50.00 to help cover the cost of fuel if you are coming on my boat otherwise free if going on your own boat

Great trip as we all know it is all fishermans luck regarding the fish though.I had a good time and the twin 150 outboards responded well. The boys from holly hill fished until exausted. There are more fish to catch next time.

You should have a bottom fishing rod with heavy test. I prefer braid for bottom fishing. You will also need leader line around 50 lb. I prefer the type that is not be seen as much as regular line.
