This isn't a singles group; however, so we can put together events for everyone, are you single or otherwise available?
Please confirm you've read the following: You agree to keep your (yes & no) RSVP accurate. You agree to make an effort to attend an event instead of just joining the group. You agree to not blindly contact members prior to meeting them in person.
Join with confidence. I’m a founder/organizer and event organizer of many other groups with a direct network of over 10,000 members!
Fitness Friends is the largest multi-purpose Meetup fitness group in Boston! We're not just about running, tennis, and rock climbing. We're about everything!
This is not just for singles; however, most of our members are. This group has the "friends first" philosophy and helps us all meet likeminded people. We will do our best not to mix in with the same events as all of the other groups BUT when we do, there will be an effort for our group to find one another so we can congregate as well as mingle with others.
This group will be very much activity-based and if drinking and food are involved, it ideally will be preceded by something else.
I'm confident we can do some good here. So join us in the fun!
Activities of the past and to come:
Ladies nights (volunteer needed)
High-speed go cart racing
Black light mini-golf
Code of conduct:
1. It is CRITICAL that you keep your RSVP’s up to date. It creates false expectations of our members, puts vendor relationships at risk, and is just plain rude. So please use that cute red button. It only takes a second. If you can't go in the first place, do nothing.
2. Contacting other members prior to meeting them is seriously frowned upon. This isn't Match.com or a career website. Members leave the group and will never attend an event because of this behavior.
3. While at an event, treat our members AND the staff of venues with respect. Your behavior has an affect on all of us.
