Using Windows Azure Websites (both Node.js and .Net) with MongoDB

Now that Windows Azure has a Replica Set offering, supporting databases up to 8GB, MongoDB (via MongoLab) is a viable choice for your Windows Azure backend. We'll dive into the ease of deployment of Windows Azure Websites and the configuration options they provide along with using MongoDB as your data store.


Anyone interested in building Web applications that would like to learn new skills, meet like-minded people who enjoy building Web applications and geeks. This meeting is open to everyone and everyone will feel comfortable regardless of your current skill level.


Joey Schluchter currently works for nukleus developing cool new ways for people to sell their stuff online. Prior to nukleus he worked for Thuzi as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in mobile social media apps and event promotions for major brands. His current focus is .Net, Node.js, Windows Azure and Facebook development.
