Hike in the Econ Wilderness Area

Sherry Williams, Seminole County Biologist and Cuplet Fern Native Plant Chapter Vice President, will lead us on a hike.  This conservation land is approximately 240 acres located on the Seminole/Orange County line south of the city of Oviedo on the west side of the Econolockhatchee River.  The approximately 3 miles of trails traverse such habitats as pine flatwoods, sandhill, and swamp.  Wildlife observed on this site include great-horned owl, white-tailed deer, bobcat, and golden mouse.  Free.  Reservations required.
