Swamp Sunflowers in bloom

A former member
Post #: 19
They are crazy in bloom around Lake Jesup right now!

SO
if you have a wet location in your yard and you want to grow these, keep checking and you should have a ton of seed heads ready in a few weeks.

OR
if you want to head out with your camera, bring your wading boots. The trails are at least ankle deep in water today (but you can still stay dry and take pictures) and the grass is tall so bring your tick repellent. The mallows are blooming too, just not like the sunflowers.

Also, nice day to take out the boat. We've canoed there lots of times. Not during gator mating season (spring) of course.
