Let's go on a group run!

Are you 40 years old, or older? Have you've be interested in either learning how to run, or to take your running experience to the next level? You locate a running group only to find that most of the participants are young enough to be your children, and God forbid, your grandchildren? As a new runner, have you felt a bit intimidated by the seemingly fit looking, and faster paced runners? Are you looking to join a running group who's member's more closely reflect your stage in life, similar fitness goals (i.e weight loss, improved body tone, more energy, etc.), running pace (with a bit of a push), and prefer to join a group of individuals seeking either fitness motivation, or training partners for an upcoming races (i.e. 10K, 1/2 or full marathon)? If you've answered yes to either one or several of these inquiries, then Baby Boomer Runner's Rule group may be just the group experience you are looking for! We meet most Sunday's in Logan Circle park, NW DC at 9AM. Groups are organized based on fitness level/running experience with the goal of everyone w/in their running group, supporting, encouraging, fostering the fitness improvement of all group members. We take scenic runs on courses in Washington, DC and into Virginia. for further information contact:

This was the best - it's been a while since I was able to trot along almost the entire two miles - It was great to have someone new to run with too - Nice to meet Diana!

Don't let the weather fool you all next time - come on out - the rain will always hold off until the fun is done!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
