Philosophy Workshop with Prof. Shelly Kagan (Yale) at SMU

The Hughes-Trigg forum is down in the basement of Hughes-Trigg.  (After you come down the stairs/elevator, approach the space-tunnel like exhibition, turn right into a hallway, and look for a door on the right.)

People will likely walk to lunch in Snider Plaza between 11:30 and 1:30.

There is free parking (on evenings and weekends) around Burleson park just east of campus.

In case you have trouble reading the poster, it says:

A WORKSHOP ON THE PHILOSOPHY OF WELL-BEING

9:30-11:30 Jennifer Hawkins (Duke) "A New Theory of Well-Being (built on a theory of ill-being)"

1:30-3:30 Steve Campbell (Coe College) "The Goods and Evils of Death"

4:00-6:00 Shelly Kagan (Yale) "Ill-Being"

The later talks will likely mention some of the stuff that came up in earlier talks/discussions, but they would probably still be pretty understandable even for people who missed the earlier ones.
