Crafting for Atheists Helping the Homeless

Have you ever watched your Executive Director knit and crochet during Gatherings and wished you could do that? Are you already a crafty person but need that little extra "push" to get that hat or scarf crocheted or knit for an Atheists Helping the Homeless Drive? Well here's your chance!
On Sunday, October the 6th we will be meeting at the home of Cheryl, owner of Picklesnot Designs (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Picklesnot-Design/250467144582), for an afternoon of crafting for the warm clothing drive for Atheists Helping the Homeless.

If you want to learn how to crochet a scarf please let us know in the comments and we will provide you with the basics. If you already have the basics for knitting and crocheting down but want to learn how to knit a hat or do an extra crochet stitch, we can help you with that too! Or if you just want to sit and craft with us, now is your chance!

All are welcome!!

I hope so. I love to make things and I have quite a yarn stash, so I can bring a lot of stuff. :)

Hi Ladies! I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up regarding parking - Raven glen is a circle - I live off of a pipe stem in that circle. The driveway is a little tricky to maneuver in and out of. Depending on when you arrive I would recommend parking somewhere along the circle to avoid the pain of having to pull out of the driveway. See you soon!

Would love to finally learn how to knit or crochet -- whichever is easier for a n00b.

Hi! Just so everyone knows, there will be plenty of yarn available for use if you don't have any. I received an unexpected donation for this event.
