Cider and Cookies in the park!

After the gathering, let's meet at Churchill Park to enjoy the Fall weather and  some playtime! We will have hot cider and homemade cookies!  If cider isn't your thing, don't worry; there will also be hot cocoa and tea.  There are a few picnic tables scattered about the park; but you can bring a picnic blanket so that we can all gather in the same area, near the playground. You can do a Scavenger Hunt, and we will also have a beautiful and easy Fall Leaf craft for the kids (and kids at heart).

We are very excited about this fun time and joining with the Dallas Brights!!!  Some have expressed an interest in bringing cookies, and since we have so many attending (including the Bright crowd), Any contributions are welcomed! If it sounds fun to bake up your favorite homemade cookies to share, please add it to the comment section below so that we can plan our baking accordingly.  Weather permitting, it should be a lovely time.  Look forward to seeing you all!

No small effort on your part Roddi.Thank you. And the cider is a big hit with my family and I'd like to replicate it at home.

Thank you Roddi, for coming up with such a wonderful idea and baking so many cookies and providing drinks! What a huge turnout! It was a perfect day and everyone had a wonderful time doing crafts, scavenger hunts, Frisbee, football, stomp rockets, etc etc etc! We definitely need to do this more often!

Sounds like fun but working. Jo and I won't be able to attend any Meetups in November and December because I will be at the Gaylord in Santaland everyday until Christmas Day as their Santa.
