Would be great if MA and FOF would check each other schedules so they don't have events at the same time =/

It would be great, but unfortunately as our community grows - which is a good thing - there will always be date conflicts based on everyones availabilty.
For future planning, our Round Table meetings occur every quarter on the 4th Sunday. We have to reserve and pay for a room, so they have been scheduled out for the year well in advance.

Thanks it's more of a frustration issue than anything else. In the past with me when I had a POS car FoF was pretty far for me so I didn't attend many events but now that I have a better vehicle it's an increasing problem that the two groups have separate events at literally the same time or that they're so close together I'm driving all over DFW.

One reason we decided not to attend was because of the arrangement last time. Though Alix made it so all attendees were in the front-ish row, we still all weren't seated at the same actual round table. Those who were in the front of the room were clearly in charge, and everyone else were the guests. To feel more welcomed and under less pressure, everyone should sit at the same table, as the title of this event actually suggests. Katherine & I felt like peons and noticed that not many of the suggestions from anyone at the last one of these actually even went into effect. We'd rather not be relegated like that. Dovetailing from Julio's mention of the MAs, their monthly business meeting has everyone sitting at the same, large conglomeration of tables, with everyone looking like equals.

Too bad, that's how we did it this time.

Thank you do much for your feedback Eric! I would like to personally extend an invitation to you to e-mail me on meetup or Facebook if there is something you are dissatisfied with so that changes can be implemented more quickly! I like to think I'm approachable but someone with knitting needles can be intimidating, and I confess that I don't always have the social awareness to know when things are set up weird. Thanks again!
