I'm a queer, atheist (for 25 years), nerdy, feminist, animal loving vegetarian who loves neuroscience and poetry.
Women Without Superstition, Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver, & The Passion by Jeanette Winterson
Italian food is my favorite.
I memorize poems that are inspiring or soothing to me. When I'm in a bad mood, I use them to calm down. I'm always looking for new feminist, atheist, or lesbian poems to memorize. If you know of any, send them my way.
I love to read and go to the theater. I'm learning to dance the two step.
I had left the North Texas Church of Freethought a long time ago after they wanted to keep the new LGBT group I started quiet about our anti-Republican leanings. I had no idea that so much has changed. Kip & Larry told me about this group.

Looking forward to seeing you at Campisi's. Stay safe.
Kerrie,
That picture is too funny!! Linda
Karrie, thank you for saying hello. I would like to extend an invitation to everyone here to join the CCGLA on Lake Lewisville. There is more info on the Collin County Gay and Lesbian Alliance web page. www.ccgla.org its a great group of people and they have several events in the area.
Hey Kerrie! Welcome to the group. Indeed… the FoF is a lot more welcoming and embracing of LGBT than that "other" place. ;-) I hope to see you at some of our events, soon!
Hi...Are you a member of Fellowship of Freethought ?
If not.....check it out http://meetup.fofdallas.org/members/7...![]()

What night do you go to the Round up? I go on Monday nights. Let me know when you are going again. Maybe I can meet you down there.
Hi Kerrie!
I want to thank you for all the planning you put into the bowling meet up. It was a lot of fun! I love planning things so if you need any help with future meet up plans, feel free to give me a nudge.
What is going on with that dog?
Hey thanks : )
I'm 'interested' in hang gliding... I just haven't done it yet... lol. I met Stephen at the Freethought Convention in Dallas but he probably doesn't remember me. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. And yes, growing up in a Jehovah's Witness family definitely make for an interesting childhood.
Thanks, I just adjusted my degree plan to remove the creative writing and ancient studies because it's taking me too long to complete them (when classes are only offered once a year or less...) but I did keep the Medieval Studies which I should be finished with in the spring. I won't be able to make it to the event, I have to work, but I am keeping up with the schedule in hopes that an event does turn up that allows me to attend. See you soon! --David
